NICHOLAS MONCURE - FOUNDING PARTNER

Supply Chain & Powersports Specialist 

With nearly 20 years of industry experience Nick got into desert racing in college and followed that passion into the industry living and working in Ensenada BC Mexico working for off road adventure Company “Wide Open Baja” From there Nicholas was recruited to AEM where he worked his way up to category manager for the “Brute Force” air intake line which was their move to diversify by making a Segway into the truck market from a largely sport compact company origin. After K&N set eyes to acquire AEM, Nicholas went to work at MBRP where he ascended to the position of VP of Sales. In that time Nicholas helped diversify the company from a diesel truck focus into all the major categories in the Automotive aftermarket, led the effort to take MBRP into full scale CARB and EPA compliance and worked to develop and implement an industry leading MAP and Authorized dealer program. These, among other initiatives set the strategy which leading to over 10 years of 15% compounded annual growth for MBRP.

JESSE ROHR - FOUNDING PARTNER

E-Commerce & Sports Car Specialist

Jesse has had a love for cars and speed for as long as he can remember. He worked his way through college at Ford Racing then started his professional career at then, E-commerce pioneer TruckAddOns.com which was among the first large stocking e-commerce retailers. Jesse worked through the ranks at TruckAddOns leaving as VP of Sales & Marketing. Jesse was recruited from TruckAddOnsto be a multiple line rep using the specific knowledge he acquired as an early adopter of e-commerce to help a number of brands prepare for the profound impact internet sales would have on the industry.  Jesse is also a serial entrepreneur with a great artistic eye and a knack for marketing. In 2008 Jesse joined the team at MBRP to apply his talents to completely refreshing the look and feel of the brand in order to make the transition from a diesel specialty product into a full line lifestyle brand. Finally, Jesse is excellent at navigating large corporate cultures and as such has run point for MBRP managing the relationships with many of the largest companies in the Special Equipment Manufacturing space.

JASON HORD

Director of Modern Muscle Car

Almost every job Jason has had has been in the automotive industry. Starting in retail with CJ Pony Parts he quickly moved from the warehouse to the sales floor, to buyer and eventually ran their purchasing team. After 9 years at CJ’s Jason moved 2 hours East to take a job with Turn 14 Distribution in that time Jason helped turn transition from a Sports Compacts specialist into the Muscle space. Over his 8+ years working at Turn 14, Jason helped the company grow from a regional distributor with one warehouse and one market to an industry leading national WD with 3 warehouses, over 200 employees serving every market. In his personal time Jason considers himself a shade tree mechanic and a Ford enthusiast having owned many different Mustangs and F150’s over the years.

LELAND MCMILLAN

Western US & Gas Truck Specialist

When Leland realized he was not going to progress from a semi professional golfer to the PGA tour he accepted an offer to work as a sales rep for Titleist. From Titleist, Leland was recruited to GolfSmith where he managed stores and learned the inner workings of a successful national retail chain. Recognizing that teaching a salesman about cars is easier than teaching a car guy about sales, and to ensure that MBRP started winning the industry golf tournaments Leland was recruited to MBRP. As a naturalist and outdoorsman Leland was drawn to the overlanding and off-road segment of the Automotive Aftermarket industry.  Today Leland manages the all the retail accounts in the Western United States for M&R.

RICK HAYNES

Central US & Diesel Truck Specialist

Rick is a motorsports enthusiast who entered the Audio and Video industry in 1992 with Soundwaves Inc., Promoted to General Manager in 1996, in 1997 the largest JL Audio distributor and ranked by Inc. magazine as #8 audio video retailer in the United States. Rick competed in the IASCA (International Automotive Sound Challenge Association) from 1994 to 1997 qualifying for the championship in 1995 and 1996. In 2000 Rick formed Streetwise Performance building specialty vehicles for professional athletes and multiple SEMA display vehicles. During this time drag racing with fun Ford weekend, NMRA, NMCA, and OSCA in the 10.5" Tire Outlaw categories and graduated to diesel stock truck sled pulling. An extremely competent mechanic with an affable disposition Rick was recruited to manage Midwestern accounts for AEM. From AEM Rick followed an opportunity with MBRP as the First US based sales specialist focusing on the Diesel truck market, where he largely performed Midwestern territory sales management, shows and events. Once  data services were becoming increasingly important as the industry adopted Aces and Pies data as a standard Rick took on the data management role in addition to his regular sales role.
